Owned and run by the Mallaun Family since the 15th Century, this stylish hotel is known for its traditional hospitality, a friendly relaxed atmosphere and comfortable accommodation.

The Hotel Mallaun has 53 attractive bedrooms, each with shower, toilet, hairdryer, telephone, radio, satellite television, safe and balcony. Some larger rooms, which can accommodate 4 persons, are also available. In house features include reception with lobby, dining room, traditional Tyrolean Stube with authentic Kachelofen (tiled stove), hotel bar, restaurant, cafe and children?s playroom. The hotel also has an outdoor swimming pool with adjoining garden and sun terrace, sauna, infrared cabin, steam-bath, foot baths, fitness room and table tennis. The use of a solarium, whirlpool, massages and billiards are available for a small local charge. Guests will enjoy a welcome drink, cold buffet breakfast, 3 or 4 course evening meal with choice of main course and daily salad buffet. The hotel also arranges regular barbecue evenings (weather permitting), a weekly guided torch-lit ramble and a live music evening A FREE 6 day walking pass, valid from Sunday to Friday, is also included. This enables unlimited use of the gondola lift in See as well as the Outdoor Wellness Park Medrigalm, at 1800 metres elevation.

The idyllic Tyrolean village of See lies in the Paznaun Valley, just 10 kilometres from the district capital of Landeck, and only 85 kilometres from Innsbruck. Located in the Silvretta Mountains, the Paznaun Valley is probably best known as home to the Alpine resort of Ischgl, 16 kilometres away. Ischgl is a popular destination in both summer and winter. The villages in the region (See, Kappl, Ischgl and Galtur) offer an almost unlimited range of sports and recreational activities. Due to its ideal location, only 8 kilometres into the valley, See is also the perfect base for exploring the western part of Tyrol and the neighbouring province of Vorarlberg. Activities available locally include: Hiking: The Paznaun Valley is a hikers? paradise with splendid landscapes, unspoiled nature and typical Tyrolean hospitality! The wide range of marked paths offer something for everyone - families, hobby walkers and the more ambitious hikers. Traditional mountain huts, offering delicious Tyrolean specialities and unequalled Alpine scenery, await your visit. The Outdoor Wellness Park Medrigalm, lies at 1800 metres, in the midst of the unique Tyrolean landscape. Kids can romp to their heart?s delight on the climbing pyramid, while adults can take advantage of the foot baths and foot massage paths. The Tourist Office in See organises guided walks twice weekly and daily tours of the Outdoor Wellness Park. Mountain Biking: This area is a mountain bikers Mecca, with top athletes and leisurely bikers returning regularly. No other European region is as well suited to mountain biking as the Silvretta Arena. An unbeatable range of different routes, suitable for all abilities and tastes, is to be found here. Swimming: For rainy days, nearby Ischgl and Galtur both have indoor swimming pool centres, each with waterfalls, water jets, water slides and a range of other features. Nordic walking, a high rope walking course, canyoning and rafting are all available in the local area. See im Paznauntal offers a small but pleasant range of amenities, including supermarket, souvenir and sport shop, bank, post office and a couple of cafes and restaurants.
