Restaurant / Dining Information: Dining is a special experience at MacArthur Place. Located in the Inn's historic barn on the estate, Saddles is the wine country's premier steakhouse specializing in steaks, chops and fresh seafood. Saddles is consistently awarded Best Steakhouse in Sonoma Valley. The extensive menu also offers a full selection of appetizers, salads, pasta, and signature side dishes big enough to share. Choose from a selection of over 16 signature martinis and a wine list featuring local wines which has been awarded the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Some of Sonoma's additional restaurants are located 4 blocks from the hotel on the Historic Sonoma Plaza.

Recreation Information: On the hotel grounds are heated outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool. Fitness room featuring all of the latest workout equipment. Guest can enjoy chess in the garden on a life-size chess board, ping-pong at the pool, or croquet. Books, games and movies are available in the Library for guest use 24 hours a day. The selection of DVD movies in the library are complimentary for guest use in their guestrooms which are all equipped with a DVD player.

A short walk from the Inn is the historic downtown Plaza which is the largest and oldest town square of its kind int the state of California. The Plaza is now the home of fantastic shopping and dining.
