The hotel and the restaurants are famous for their traditional and typical local cuisine. 10/07lh.
Parts of the hotel building date back to the 17th century, with more recent additions made in 1949. In fact, the hotel consists of several half-timbered buildings with wood carved bays and open galleries, all grouped around a courtyard and interconnected.
Due to the various ages of the buildings, the bedrooms vary considerably in size, but on average they are small. They are basically furnished, with pastel colour schemes, and both the rooms and the bathrooms are in good condition.
The hotel has two restaurants: the ¿Lindenwirt¿ and the ¿Zum Drosselmueller¿, which serve international and local cuisine. They are very rustic in style.
The small lobby has a wooden reception desk and yellow walls, and it leads on to the hotel bar and restaurant.
The hotel is centrally located in the famous ¿Drosselgasse¿, a 5-minute walk from the train station in the centre of Rudesheim.
