Kyknos is a holiday resort, situated 32km east of the airport of Heraklion between Malia and Stalida, a place that attracts thousands of visitors every summer. The hotel is ideally located in the middle of Cretes most important points or interest, the archaeological site of Knossos, the plateau of Lassithi, the tropical beach of Malia, etc. Although it is quiet and peaceful around the hotel, one of Cretes best nightlife resorts, i.e. Malia town, is just a 15 minute walk. Accommodation
The hotel consists of a main building and 6 bungalow buildings spread throughout the beautifully rich gardens, and has an ample amount of rooms. In the main building, there is a friendly reception hall complimented with a comfortable lobby, the dinning room with the veranda overlooking the pool and the main bar. In Kyknos, guests can choose between a room in the main building or a bungalow. The main building offers magnificent views of the pool and the Mediterranean Sea, whereas in the bungalows you can take advantage of the privacy, the quietness and the traditional architecture. All rooms are tastefully decorated, and are equipped with a WC/bath, balcony or terrace, satellite TV - radio (18 channels), self controlled air conditioning, hair dryer, Also available and an extra charge; direct dial telephone, fridge and safe deposit.
Food & Drinks
Breakfast & dinner are served in the dinning room in a rich buffet style. Breakfast is served from 7.30 to 10.00 and offers a variety of cold and hot choices. During dinner guests can choose among a large variety of soups, salads, hot dishes, fruits, ice cream and deserts.
Sports & Leisure
Amongst the main building and the bungalows is a large swimming pool, 2 childrens pools, childrens playground, tennis court and mini golf (both with extra charge). Billiard, table tennis, baby foot and darts are also available at the hotel with extra charge. Outside of the hotel there is a wide variety of sports, from the most common ones, football and volleyball to the very special ones, go-carts and bungee jumping. At the pool bar there is amusement for the hotel guests with various entertainment programs, such as cultural nights, BBQs, magic shows and pool parties. There the guests have the possibility to watch how Cretan people sing and dance and also try their selves, participate in different games, try delicious traditional specialties and much more!
