Accommodation and Facilities The Konrad features 14 bedrooms, some with a balcony, and all are fitted with shower, toilet, hairdryer and cable television. Rooms are simply furnished, warm and clean. In-house facilities in this small pension include dining room, cosy house bar with television, open fire place and Stube. There is also a sauna (free twice weekly), whirlpool and infrared cabin (free use daily). The half board arrangement at the Konrad includes a breakfast buffet, three course evening meal with choice of main course and occasional salad buffet. A Fondue Evening is also regularly arranged and festive meals are included on Christmas Eve and New Year?s Eve. Location The Pension Konrad is situated approximately 400 metres from the resort centre and 200 metres from the Panoramabad resort swimming pool centre. It is 800 metres to the main Soll-Hochsoll gondola station and the free ski bus stops about 30 metres from the pension. Ski Facts Soll is part of Austria?s largest interconnecting ski region, the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental, which encompasses the resorts of Soll, Itter, Scheffau, Ellmau, Going, Brixen, Hopfgarten, Kelchsau and Westendorf. The area offers a wide range of runs for all standards and is ideal for beginners and experienced skiers alike. In a recent survey on the Top Resort internet platform, the Skiwelt was placed 4th best in a list of 4000 skiing regions worldwide! A new eight seater gondola, the Skiwelt-Kitzbüheler Alpen lift, planned to be completed for Winter 2008-09, will complete the final connection in the Skiwelt between the resorts of Brixen and Westendorf. As Westendorf is already connected to Kirchberg (in the Kitzbuhel region), by the Ki-West gondola, this new lift will connect the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental to Kitzbuhel-Kirchberg. The entire region, known as the Kitzbuheler Alpen will then be one of the three largest interconnecting ski resorts in the world, and covered by one lift pass, the Kitzbuheler Alpen pass (upgrade on the Skiwelt lift pass).
