Two of the three championship golf courses were designed by Arnold Palmer, and guests at the Kapalua Villas receive preferred rates and tee times. The PGA*s season-opening match is held each year at the Plantation Course. The 23-acre practice area at the Golf Academy is the perfect spot for one to improve his or her game with the help of the professional staff. Guests have free access to the tennis facilities, which also include a pro shop, tennis camps, and professional instruction. The Kapalua Resort is home to three beaches, and the beachside activity centers offer snorkeling, kayaking, boogie boarding, and more. The resort also offers a free Hawaiian Cultural Arts Program, featuring history lessons, crafts-making, and dance demonstrations.
