The spacious Hotel Kaltschmid features 163 comfortable bedrooms, all with bath, toilet, hairdryer, telephone, radio, cable television and safe. Some larger rooms, which can sleep up to 4 persons and feature a balcony, are also available. The hotel has an impressive array of facilities: reception, lobby and cocktail bar with open fireplace, 1st floor dining room, café, a la carte restaurant, the Alt Seefeld café/restaurant, and a bar. Take advantage of the in house leisure features: top floor swimming pool with panoramic views, children?s pool with slide, Finnish sauna, bio-sauna, two whirlpools, Turkish and herbal steam-bath, infrared cabin, fitness room and large sun terrace with a roof-top hot tub. Guests staying at the Kaltschmid may also use the outdoor swimming pool with sun-bathing lawn at the sister Hotel Alpenpark, 500 metres away. The inclusive weekly programme of activities and events include guided walks, bowling evenings, folklore evenings, etc. There is free bicycle hire as well (subject to availability). The hotel also arranges regular entertainment with live music. Massage and solarium treatments, billiards and video games can be arranged locally for small charge. Golfers enjoy a 15% reduction on the green fees at the 18-hole Wildmoos Golf Course and 30% at the Seefeld Golf Academy. Younger guests are well catered for in the hotel?s kindergarten, available for kids from three years old, which runs Sunday to Friday from 10:00 ? 18:00. The Hotel Kaltschmid half-board Plus arrangement offers a welcome cocktail; extensive buffet breakfast; light afternoon buffet from 13:30 - 16:30 with a selection of soup, salad and cakes; four course evening meal with choice of main course, salad buffet and cheese selection; weekly speciality Farmers? buffet, Gala dinner and dessert buffet. Location
The Kaltschmid is perfectly situated in the centre of Seefeld, at the end of the pedestrian zone, and close to all amenities. The railway station, which offers a regular service to Innsbruck, is located approximately 200 metres away.

Activities available locally include: Walking and Hiking: The Olympia region, with its villages of Seefeld, Leutasch, Mosern/Buchen, Reith and Scharnitz, features over 650 kilometres of marked paths and trails, suitable for all abilities, as well as over 60 Alpine huts and inns offering typical Tyrolean hospitality. The surrounding Karwendl and Mieming Mountain Ranges provide a breathtaking backdrop to this walkers? paradise. Several chairlifts and the Rosshutte mountain railway enable quick and painless access to the higher routes! Nordic Walking and Running: Known as the Hotspot for Nordic sports, the Seefeld Region is an ideal training area for all endurance sports. A comprehensive network of Nordic walking and running routes, totalling 160 kilometres, is currently being created in the region. Four of the planned 15 routes, between 3 and 13 kilometres in length have already been completed, enabling one to enjoy the unique character of this sunny plateau, as well as the fresh mountain air.
