Accommodation and Facilities The spacious Hotel Kaltschmid features 163 comfortable bedrooms, all with bath, toilet, hairdryer, telephone, radio, cable television and safe. Some larger rooms, which can sleep up to 4 persons and feature a balcony, are also available. The hotel has an impressive array of facilities: reception, lobby and cocktail bar with open fireplace, 1st floor dining room, café, a la carte restaurant, the Alt Seefeld café/restaurant, and a bar. Take advantage of the in house leisure features: top floor swimming pool with panoramic views, children?s pool with slide, Finnish sauna, bio-sauna, two whirlpools, Turkish and herbal steam-bath, infrared cabin, fitness room and large sun terrace with a roof-top hot tub. Guests staying at the Kaltschmid may also use the outdoor swimming pool with sun-bathing lawn at the sister Hotel Alpenpark, 500 metres away. Nordic Walking and Running: Known as the Hotspot for Nordic sports, the Seefeld Region is an ideal training area for all endurance sports. A comprehensive network of Nordic walking and running routes, totalling 160 kilometres, is currently being created in the region. Four of the planned 15 routes, between 3 and 13 kilometres in length have already been completed, enabling one to enjoy the unique character of this sunny plateau, as well as the fresh mountain air.
