Local attractions include Lahaina Town, approximately three miles away, and the Maui Ocean Center, located 18 miles from the hotel.
The Kaanapali Beach Hotel prides itself on its many options for diversion and entertainment. Guests may take a dip in the whale-shaped swimming pool, which opens onto Kaanapali Beach. Equipment rentals for water sports, such as snorkeling and windsurfing, are available on the beach, and the Ohana Fun Center, located in the lobby, will set up all excursions and activities. Family activities, such as hula classes, flower lei making, and cultural lessons are available through the hotel's activities program (free for children 12 years old and younger). The spa features massage therapies and beauty treatments, and is located next to the hotel's lobby. Dining options include the Tiki Terrace, featuring regional Hawaiian cuisine and free hula shows, the Kaanapali Mixed Plate Restaurant, the Tiki Bar and Grill, champagne brunches, and the Ohana Welcome Breakfast.
Guest rooms feature air-conditioning, lanais, refrigerators, coffeemakers, safes, wireless access (fee), cable TV, movies on-demand, irons and ironing boards, hairdryers, and bath amenities. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel. Spalding work on the Lanai's will be conducted 9A-330P Daily effective October 2008.
