At over 300 metres in length and 100 metres in height, the hotel rises dramatically from golden sands and lush, landscaped gardens. Soft undulating curves reflect the wave concept and provide a breathtaking sight from every perspective. The hotel was inspired by the Arabian seafaring tradition, its external shape echoing the form of a huge breaking wave. The medium sized lobby, although impressive, is smaller than one would expect for this size of hotel. The large reception is to the right, with a small concierge just inside the main door. The hotel is located, as the name suggests, on Jumeirah Beach approximately 25 kilometres from downtown Dubai. It is in an excellent location to enjoy all of the sights and sounds of Dubai.
