A 4 star hotel with 20 rooms-built in 1870-in the style of Viennese Ringstrassenpalais-equipped with all modern facilities. The history of the Hotel Waldhör begins in 1870. The Terpinitz family constructed the building in the style of Viennese Ringstraßenpalais as a railway station hotel for the planned railway into the Mühlviertel. The line was never realized due to the chaos during the 1st World War, however, the hotel began to operate its business. In the thirties, the premises became the property of the Waldhör family, to which the building now owes its name. Up until the nineties the building was run as the Waldhör inn. At the end of the eighties and during the beginning of the nineties, the building was carefully restored to its former identity. In 1993, the building was finally used for what it was originally constructed: the Hotel Waldhör opened its doors. A symbiosis of classic and modern elements has been successfully developed in the Hotel Waldhör. The flair of the classic architecture is linked to the luxury and the comforts of the modern age. Since its opening, the Hotel Waldhör has established itself equally as a host for business and individual travelers as well as a destination to hold seminars and events.
