In the Baroque center of Salzburg, Hotel Goldener Hirsch is a short way from Mozart's birthplace on Salzburg's main street, Getreidegasse, and approximately three miles from Salzburg Airport. The hotel's history dates back at least as far as 1407, when it was first mentioned in a written document as an inn.
