Holmwood Guesthouse is an excellent base to enjoy the sights and attractions of Newquay, which is a premier resort from which to visit the picturesque villages and harbours of Cornwall and famous attractions like the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project which is only 35 minutes away. Home to Europe's finest surfing beaches, you can learn to surf at the new National Surfing Centre located on Fistral Beach or try any of the extreme sports now so popular in Newquay. It is a paradise for children with many fun days out nearby such as Flambards, Trenance Gardens, Boating Lake, Newquay Zoo, Dairyland with indoor bullpen where kids can play on dropslides and ball pools. There is always something new to do in Cornwall with a warm climate which creates many opportunities to get outside and explore.
