This is a fantastic hotel with a brilliant location and a timeless design. The Spa facilities are superb and to explore Cologne, its landmarks and its bars it is only a very very short walk. 1205 HM.
The building is the former Cologne Post office, and is built in typical German post war style, in an U-form with a grey stone fasade.
The rooms are very spacious and also that they are decorated very modern. They are also very comfortable. The colour sheme is warm with light brown wooden furniture in an italian design. The equipment is modern and up to the highest standard. The bathrooms are spacious, bright and also very modern.
The restaurant "Konrad" offers international and euroasian cuisine, the architecture is modern and the whole room is flooded with light. Opposite the reception desk in the lobby is located the "Lobby Caffe & Bar" and separate at the front of the hotel is the "Ice BAR" where the bar is coverde with ice.
The Lobby is very spacious and bright with a window roof, a dark brown reception desk, a seating area in the middle and th Lobby bar at the opposite side of the reception desk.
The Hilton is located in the heart of Cologne, just 100 metres distance from the "Cathedral", the main train station and the shopping streets. The street "the Marzellenstrasse" is an old Roman street and one of the oldest in Germany.
