This is a very good standard of accommodation, close to all of the famous landmarks of this wonderful city. (BL 11/2005).
It is an elegant Victorian building which has been tastefully furnished throughout to provide modern comforts yet also retain a traditional feel.
The bedrooms are a variety of shapes but are all well decorated and comfortably furnished. The bedrooms are generally medium in size and are in good condition.
The hotel has two restaurants. One offers an excellent carvery style table d'hote menu whilst the steakhouse has a choice of traditional English and Scottish specialities from an extensive A la carte menu.
The lobby is medium to large in size and is very traditional. The decor is very warm.
This hotel is located in the west end of Edinburgh. Nearby is Haymarket railway station and Princes Street is only 10 minutes walk away. A good central location.
