A large building, hotel grand is a basic looking modern building and is without much character. It is set in in its own spacious grounds and constructed of brick and concrete. The ground floor level features large windows and a light yellow coloured frontage.

Bedrooms feature all the amenities expected of this class of hotel and are decorated with white walls, red carpets and wooden furniture. The rooms are medium in size and of a good standard.

Medium in size, the restaurant provides many international and national dishes served in a pleasant environment. Again the decor is basic, white painted walls and a blue carpet with many plants creating an outdoor scene inside. There is also a large bar area with a terrace at the hotel.

The lobby is medium in size and brightly decorated using whites and browns as well as a brightly coloured blue, red and yellow carpeted area. A few seats are available.

The hotel is in a quieter part of the city but still provides good access to the city centre and is near the railway and bus stations.
