The hotel is historical in appearanceżan elegant mixture of Italian and Austrian baroque style. It is very well maintained and cared for.
Rooms are small to medium in size and very well furnished. All rooms are of an excellent standard. The executive rooms are more brightly decorated and larger than the standard rooms, although this is the only real difference.
The restaurant is shared with Grand Union business. The breakfast room has just been decorated and is very brightly lit. It is a comfortable place in which to eat.
The lobby area is quite dark, but large, with ample reception space. There is extensive seating for those checking in.
The hotel is situated in the very heart of Ljubljana, connected to the Grand Union Business Hotel and a three-minute walk from the central square.
