Carlsbad's Grand Pacific Palisades Resort is a hotel and timeshare resort boasting magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean and the Carlsbad Flower Fields. The Olympic-size swimming pool is for adults only, but families can enjoy the family pool and water play park. There are three Jacuzzis and a fully equipped exercise center. The activity center has a separate game room, pool table, and clubroom. The hotel offers full banquet and meeting facilities, as well as a wedding gazebo. There are a wealth of incomparable services such as child care, massage therapy (in the fitness center or in your room), concierge desk, and a business center with postal, photocopy, fax, and Internet services. Grand Pacific Palisades offers great meals with freshly brewed beer at the new Karl Strauss Brewery & Grill, only steps from the front door. It's a short walk to Legoland (across the street), shopping, and entertainment. The resort offers easy access to all San Diego attractions: Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Sports Arena, Del Mar Fairgrounds, Old Town, and 32 golf courses including Torrey Pines and the legendary La Costa. All guest units have a balcony or patio, coffeemaker, dataport, hairdryer, individual climate control, iron/ironing board, radio alarm clock, television and VCR, and tub and shower combination. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel. The Adult Pool and Jacuzzi will be closed beginning Monday 2/12 and it shall re-open on Friday 3/16.
