Grand Oasis Marien, ideally located a short distance from the Victorian city of Puerto Plata. The Grand Oasis Marien Hotel resort takes its name from the prince of the Taíno Indians, the island?s first inhabitants. With top dive sites nearby as well as superb off road adventures, the hotel is less than twenty minutes away from the International Airport of Puerto Plata and less than one hour from the city of Santiago de Los Caballeros, well known for its fine cigars and old rum factories.
Accommodation
The Grand Oasis Marien comprises of 332 rooms, All of the rooms offer air conditioning, complete bath, hair dryer, mini bar at an extra charge, coffee maker, an iron with ironing board, direct dial telephone, cable television, safe deposit box at an extra charge, terrace or balcony. Some of the rooms have a Jacuzzi and equipped kitchen. Connected rooms are also available upon request.
All Inclusive Food & Drinks
The AI programme consists of breakfast (06:00-11:00), lunch (12:00-15:00) and dinner (18:30-22:00), all buffet style, served in the Cayuco restaurant. During meals juices, coffee, water, tea, soda, wine and cocktails are offered. Also at the disposal of the AI guests for dinner are three A la Carte restaurants; Santa Fe Grill, Rigoletto Pasta Club, Creperia. Snacks such as pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, bbq, French fries, nachos, sandwiches and four hot dishes are available from 11:00 at the Mangos snack on the beach. Snacks are on offer again from 22:30-06:00. Locally & some international produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like whiskey, vodka, juices, coffee, water, tea, soda, wine, cocktails, rum and liqueurs are served 24hrs at the sports bar (open 24hrs), the Mangos bar (10:00-02:00), the Areito bar (20:30-23:00) and the Tubano bar (10:00-24:00).

Sport facilities at the hotel include tennis, boccia, basketball, volleyball, fitness centre, ping pong, billiards, kayaks, windsurfing, sail boats, snorkelling, scuba diving lessons, two adult pools and one for children as well as daily organized activities programmes and nightly live entertainment at the Areito theatre.

Spa special packages with massages, specialised treatments, etc. sea pro divers PADI/SSI Scuba Diving Centre (for certified & beginner divers), 18 holes, Par 72 golf course nearby, all motorised sports, horse back riding, four wheeling and motorcycle rental are available at a charge.
