Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro is a Caribbean-style hotel with touches of Colonial decoration, surrounded by tropical vegetation. The hotel is located in Playa Bavaro, right on a white sandy beach. The Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro is made up of two hotels the Gran Bahia Principe Punta Cana and the Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro, the two hotels share mostl of the many facilities and restaurants that this large complex has to offer.
Accommodation
In total there are 1536 rooms located in one of the 47 blocks. All are junior suites with oval Jacuzzi bath, distributed in 2 and 3 storey villas. All rooms are with twin or king size beds and sofa bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, full bathroom, hairdryer, satellite TV, direct telephone, private safe (extra charge), mini-bar (free), coffeemaker, and terrace or balcony. Four rooms are equipped with facilities for the disabled (on request).
All Inclusive Food & Drinks
The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:30), lunch (13:00-15:30) and dinner (18:30-22:30), all buffet tyle, served in the main restaurant. During meals all national drinks are offered. Also at the discposal of the AI guests for dinner three times per week of stay, are seven A la Carte restaurants; Japanese, Mexican, Italian, French, Garden grill, Sea Food, Mediterranean. Snacks such as hot dogs, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, French fries, etc are available between 12:00 & 18:00 at the snack bar Las Olas I & II by the beach as well as from 10:00-19:00 at the snack bar Piscis (by the pool) and the burger house in Pueblo Principe from 21:00-07:00. Locally & some international produced alcoholoc & non-alcoholic drinks are served at the main bar (11:00-23:00), the piano bar Karaoke (18:00-02:00) and the disco. In-room mini bars are filled with soft drinks, water and beer.
All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment
Sport facilities at the hotel include non motorized sports (windsurfing, catamaran, kayaks, sunfish, snorkelling, pedal boat), boogie boards, mountain bikes, tennis, aerobics & merengue lessons, towel service at the pools & beach, daytime beach & pool entertainment, games & organized activities, Theatre at night (20:00), children show, mini club and two different show for adults (21:00-24:00). Guests have the choice of two of four pools on site. On request are basketball, beach volleyball, boccia, darts, ping pong, water polo and soccer / football.

Pueblo Principe: Dominican style commercial and entertainment village at the entrance of the Hotel area offers daily entertainment with live music (merengue, bachata and salsa) and a variety of shows, casino, internet centre, disco, piano/karaoke bar, snack burger house.
