The Govino Bay Apartment Complex is situated on the beach on the edge of the village of Gouvia. The two storey maisonettes are set, amphitheatrically, in lush, well-kept gardens which curve around the small bay. The complex itself is a haven for couples and families alike and the bustling village of Gouvia, with its many shops, restaurants (Greek, Italian, Chinese, Indian and International Cuisine), bars and discos, is a short walk in the nearby resort of Gouvia. Corfu Town is a mere eight km away (local bus service every 30min).
Accommodation
The complex consists of three types of apartments. Apartment type I, sleeps 2-3 people: In the lounge there is 1 sofa/bed, kitchen/dining area and a bathroom with bath & shower. Apartment type II, sleeps 4-5 people: (it sleeps 5 or 6 upon request only) it has one twin bedroom, one elevated open-plan twin sleeping area overlooking the lounge, a lounge (with two sofa beds), kitchen/ dining area and bathroom with bath & shower. Apartment type III, sleeps 4-5 people: In the lounge there is 1 sofa/bed, located on the garden level are a living room, kitchen-dining area, shower, WC and washbasin. In the semi basement are two twin bedrooms with ample closet space and one complete bathroom. All apartments have fully equipped kitchens: full size oven, full size fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, air-conditioning, direct dial telephone, ironing board & steam iron, TV, linen is provided and baby cots and highchairs on request (Free of charge). All apartments also have a veranda with the exception of two apartments.
Facilities & Services
The hotel offers a swimming pool with separate children?s section and free use of two sunbeds around the pool and on the lawns per apartment. There is also a pool snack bar, a tennis court, private gardens and it is on the beach. The complex also offers parking, 24 hour security guard (April - Oct), mini-market on site, a maid service six times per week and the linen is changed twice per week.
Useful Information on Distances
The complex is located 8km from the airport, 6km from the port and 8km from Corfu Town. There is a bus service outside main entrance, watersports 250m along the beachfront, waterski (Professional Slalom Course), pedaloes, paragliding, boat rental, 10km from the golf course and 1km from Gouvia Marina. Gouvia doctor, chemist, supermarket and entertainment are 500m away.
