The Golden Tulip is a good 4* hotel with the biggest outdoor pool in the city, overlooking the stunning Indian Ocean there is a deep and shallow end for toddlers. There are a number of sun loungers for guests and food and drinks can be ordered by the pool. The hotel has excellent conference facilities as well as a business centre. (AHJ 0109).

The architecture is inspired by the Arabic influences on the Swahili coast.

The Arabica Coffee Shop is located in the hotel shopping arcade and offers daily fresh pastries and sweets, and house blend coffee from the Tanzanian coffee fields.

The entrance hall is spectacular with it's stately pillars, grand dome and marble floor and reception desk. There is a seating area for guests.

The Golden Tulip Dar es Salaam is located on the tranquil green area of the Msasani Peninsula, just 4kms from the centre of the city. The seaside location of the hotel gives you a fantastic view of the Indian Ocean. The city centre, main business area, international organisations and embassies are all located nearby. The airport is situated 18 km from the hotel on the outskirts of the city.
