Gearhart by the Sea is situated on the Northern Oregon coast only 15 miles south of the mouth of the Columbia River in the heart of the Sunset Empire. It is located a short 83 miles from the big city of Portland but an eternity away in terms of quietude and tranquility.
Gearhart by the Sea has four separate buildings. The central structure is the huge, towering Gearhart House. To the north is the smaller but still imposing Pacific View. Scattered below on the oceanside are the Pacific Palisades and Pacific Terraces. The amenties also include outdoor pool, parking, and fitness center.
All units have an ocean view. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel. Please check-in at 1157 N. Marion. The office hours are open till 11pm. If after 11pm, come to the office anyway and there is a phone number that will call the security office and someone will assist you to your room.
