Accommodation and Facilities The hotel features 60 bedrooms, located in two interconnected buildings, and guests may be accommodated in either building. All rooms are bright and modern and feature bath or shower, toilet, hairdryer, telephone, cable television, safe and balcony. Some larger bedrooms can accommodate three persons. The bright and airy public areas of the Hotel Fuchs are furnished in modern Tyrolean style and include reception with small adjacent lounge, a traditional wood panelled Stuberl and two residents? dining rooms, one with bar. A sauna and steam-bath are included for house guests and a solarium is available for a small local charge. The hotel is well known for its excellent food and friendly service, and guests will enjoy an extensive warm and cold buffet breakfast and a four course evening meal with choice of main course and a daily salad buffet. A weekly Fondue Evening and Gala Dinner are arranged and once weekly, a complimentary apres ski snack is offered. A festive meal is included on Christmas Eve and New Year?s Eve. Location The Hotel Fuchs is located in a quiet residential area of Soll, about 600 metres from the centre. The Soll-HochSoll gondola is approximately 1.5 kilometres away and the free ski bus stops a few metres from the hotel. Ski Facts Soll is part of Austria?s largest interconnecting ski region, the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental, which encompasses the resorts of Soll, Itter, Scheffau, Ellmau, Going, Brixen, Hopfgarten, Kelchsau and Westendorf. The area offers a wide range of runs for all standards and is ideal for beginners and experienced skiers alike. In a recent survey on the Top Resort internet platform, the Skiwelt was placed 4th best in a list of 4000 skiing regions worldwide! A new eight - seater gondola, the Skiwelt-Kitzbuheler Alpen lift, planned to be completed for Winter 2008-09, will complete the final connection in the Skiwelt between the resorts of Brixen and Westendorf. As Westendorf is already connected to Kirchberg (in the Kitzbuhel region), by the Ki-West gondola, this new lift will connect the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental to Kitzbuhel-Kirchberg. The entire region, known as the Kitzbuheler Alpen will then be one of the three largest interconnecting ski resorts in the world, and covered by one lift pass, the Kitzbuheler Alpen pass (upgrade on the Skiwelt lift pass).
