This pedestrian resort blossomed in a wonderful environment, right in the forest with a panoramic view of the valley below. On location you will find the kids village, French Ski School, shops, and restaurants. How to Get There Closest airports: CMF/GNB/GVA/LYS. Morrillon is located near Chambery/Aix-les-bains airport (CMF), Grenoble/ Saint Geoirs Airport (GNB), Geneve Cointrin airport (GVA) and Lyon Saint Exupery airport (LYS). Please note that check in and check out day for this property is only Saturday. Your stay should be either for 7 or 14 nights. Accommodation & Facilities All of the apartments have a kitchen area fully equipped with a four burner electric stove, refrigerator (microwave oven and dishwasher in most of the apartments,) bathroom or shower room, WC (separate in some apartments) and a balcony (without furniture) for most of the apartments. The apartments have also a TV jack (TV available at a charge.) The guests may also find, elevators for some apartments, free ski lockers, Laundromat and a game room (ping pong and pinball.) The residence provides to its guests at a charge, sheet and towels, child?s bed, parking and housekeeping. The guests should note that animals are admitted at an extra charge and that there is a tax per adult per night paid locally. A refundable deposit paid locally and returned after departure is required. There are several activities apart from skiing as paragliding, visits to the farm, helicopter rides, skating rink, carriage rides, sauna and Jacuzzi, ice diving in a frozen lake, fitness center. There is a shuttle service running between the resorts during the hours the lifts are open. Location At an altitude of 1100m to 2480m the residences of the Esserts plateau are all located at the foot of the slopes near the shops selling essential items. The Grand Morillon, Les Eterlous, and les Sittelles residences are all buildings no taller than four stories. The Grand Morillon is located in the heart of the resort, Les Eterlous and Les Sittelles are right next to each other across from the chair lift, next to the kids playground. Ski Facts Morillon ski area is the perfect complement to Samoens and Sixt. Beginner or expert, everyone will love skiing these forest slopes. Alongside the magnificent green slope, Marvel, information boards tell the story of the wildlife around you. Snow cover is ensured thanks to the large network of snow cannon (47). A childrens area means parents can go skiing with complete peace of mind Flaine is famous for its ski area, quality of snow cover, and variety of slopes (from beginner to expert). Its special characteristics: the altitude-range and length of the pistes (2 500 m to 1 600 m) and its sheer expanse (120 km of pistes). A village of style and character, Les Carroz is equipped with 60 snow cannon for enhanced access to the slopes. Les Carroz has a new eight-seater cable car and parking for 500 cars.On the upper part of the ski area, Samoëns is characterised by its black slopes for experienced skiers, and lower down, an entirely redesigned area for beginners. Samoens village has direct access to the slopes, thanks to the eight person Grand Massif Express cable car, built in 2003. At its arrival, children can be taken care of in the childrens ski area ( jardin de neige). The ski area of Sixt is great for beginners. Its easy to reach by car (follow Cascade du Rouget), and has a convivial family atmosphere. Enjoy an unforgettable time on the nine slopes of this superb ski resort. You can ski to Sixt from Flaine down the Piste des Cascades (14 km). Free ski buses will take you to the other Giffre Valley resorts of Samoens and Morillon.
