The guests may get to Les 2 Alpes from Chambery Aix Les Bains airport (CMF), Grenoble/Saint Geoirs Airport (GNB) 120km away, Geneve-Cointrin Airport (GVA) 220km away and Lyon-St Exupery airport (LYS) 160km away. Please note that check in and check out day for this property is only Saturday. Your stay should be either for 7 or 14 nights. Accommodation & Facilities In all of the apartments there is a fully equipped kitchen area with an electric stove, refrigerator (oven or grill in most of them,) bathroom with a bathtub (sometimes a hip bath), WC (separate in some apartments) and a balcony (with furniture for most of the apartments.) The rooms also have a TV jack (TV available at a charge.) The hotel provides to its guests at a charge, a luggage room on Saturdays, sheets and towels, child?s bed, housekeeping. The guest should also note that the pets are admitted at an extra charge. A free covered; not guarded public parking is also available. Guests should note that there is a tax per adult per night paid locally and a refundable deposit paid locally and returned after departure is required. Apart from skiing there also other numerous winter leisure activities as, snowshoeing, skijoring, quads, snowmobiles, paragliding, randonnee skiing, ice cavern, croisiere blanche, ice driving racetrack, there are also brass bands, street activities, torchlit ski descent, fireworks and laser shows, skating rink, fitness center, restaurants, bars, night clubs, and casino. Location Directly linked to the main mountainside of the ski area and to the glacier via a detachable quad, placed at an altitude of 1600m to 3600m, the residences are generally south or southwest facing in order to soak up as much sunshine as possible all year round. Ski Facts The Southern Alps covers a huge area, stretching from the Mercantour in the Alpes Maritimes to the Bauges in Isère. It is difficult to summarise the skiing in this vast area, which itself is divided into different ski regions. However one of the main differences between skiing in the Northern Alps and the Southern Alps is sunshine! There are some epic runs, like the Sarenne in Alpe d?Huez, which is the longest run in Europe at over 17kms (Starts black and finishes green). Also the chance to ski the ?68 Olympic downhill runs at Chamrousse, or follow in the ski steps of Luc Alphand in Serre Chevalier.
