The family-owned-and-operated Firefly Cottages are located directly on the beach in Negril. The hotel has 19 suites and cottages for two to eight guests.

For recreation, options abound: there's the beach with plenty of water sports; transportation for tours around the island and beyond (the hotel will help you find and arrange).

For exercise, keep in shape at the outdoor gym with weights and a couple of machines for use at any time. The Negril Yoga Centre (short walk) offers group Yoga and private classes.

If you'd rather relax closer to your cottage, stroll through the gardens filled with tropical flowers, fruit trees and singing birds. The hotel's outdoor Jacuzzi (clothing-optional) offers a place to unwind. The popular beach bar serves up tropical drinks and is the site of much activity during the weekly beach party that the staff throws exclusively for guests.

For dining, kitchenettes make dining in the privacy of your cottage convenient. Many restaurants from cheap to expensive are a short walk from the hotel. After dinner, guests can find nightlife in the town's two discos or head 15 minutes on foot down the beach for one of the frequent beach concerts. Hotel services include babysitting and laundry (extra charge).

Rooms are suites, one or two-bedroom apartments, cozy cottages, or studios featuring verandahs or patios, kitchenettes, bathrooms and living/sleeping areas or separate bedrooms, most have air-conditioning and all have a ceiling fan. Hotel services include daily maid service, free morning coffee on the beach every day, items from the garden (in season), Jacuzzi, weekly beach or garden party and free WiFi access. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel.
