Field View has a large rear garden with far-reaching views over farmland and the South Downs. The house has been extended and completely modernised to create an attractive and comfortable home. Our style is traditional with a modern twist, relaxed and informal. We are within 10 minutes' drive of the historic city of Chichester with its Roman walls and lovely Georgian architecture. You can visit the 900-year old Cathedral, the internationally renowed Chichester Festival Theatre and the newest attraction for art lovers, the Pallant House Gallery, as well as the many excellent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Arundel, dominated by the magnificent Castle and Roman Catholic Cathedral, with its antique and craft shops and steep, winding streets, is less than 15 minutes away.Even closer is Goodwood House and Estate, an international sporting venue, renowned for Glorious Goodwood, the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival. Serious walkers, cyclists and those just out for a stroll will find plenty to explore on the South Downs, with its beautiful chalk downland landscape and rich wildlife.There are many coastal and downland villages to explore, many of which have traditional pubs serving excellent food. The coast with its many miles of unspoilt and varied beaches is a short drive away. Families will head for the long sandy beaches at West Wittering and Littlehampton or to the bright lights of Bognor Regis. If you're a bird lover, you'll find plenty of wildlife at the nature reserves at Pagham Harbour and West Wittering, the latter also being a great place for kite and wind surfing. Or you can watch the world go by on the water at Chichester Harbour, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Other places well worth visiting are West Dean Gardens, the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, Fishbourne Roman Palace and Bignor Roman Villa.
