The hotel La Farandole hotel is situated in the legendary station Les Deux Alpes which boasts the largest glacier in Europe and 300 days of sun a year. This hotel is located only few metres from the centre of the village and 300 m from the Devils cable car.

The Hatel is a superb four star hotel just a short distance from the centre of the well know resort of Les Deux Alpes, and just 300m from the Diable cable car. Built in traditional wood and stone style and facing south, the Hotel has a large terrace with a view over the glacier of the Ecrin National Park. The complex has 46 rooms and 14 suites, which are all spacious and comfortable. The majority faces south and have balconies equipped with sun loungers to enjoy a great view of the glacier. The rooms can accommodate from two to five people. Each room has a bathroom with bath, hair dryer, satellite television, telephone, internet access and Wifi in your room and at the reception. In the hotel itself you will find a ski rental shop which will offer you good prices on your equipment. The guests are welcome to use the leisure and relaxation facilities, with windows giving great views. Facilities include a heated pool, sauna, steam room, spa pool, fitness area and massage (reservation required). A large lounge area with pool table and piano bar with an open fireplace, ideal for those apres- ski moments. A play area is available in the hotel for small children. There are also several conference rooms of various sizes. To begin the day there is a large breakfast buffet with a selection of dishes. Room service is also available for an extra charge. Apart from the free outdoor parking, an inside garage is available (at a charge.) Also a large number of activities are available on the 220 km of slopes, making it an unmissable experience for snow enthusiasts all the year round. Les Deux Alpes is an internationally renowned ski resort, with a warm and lively atmosphere, both by day and night in the shops, bars and restaurants of the village centre. Ski Facts
The Southern Alps covers a huge area, stretching from the Mercantour in the Alpes Maritimes to the Bauges in Isère. It is difficult to summarise the skiing in this vast area, which itself is divided into different ski regions. However one of the main differences between skiing in the Northern Alps and the Southern Alps is sunshine! There are some epic runs, like the Sarenne in Alpe d?Huez, which is the longest run in Europe at over 17kms (Starts black and finishes green). Also the chance to ski the ?68 Olympic downhill runs at Chamrousse, or follow in the ski steps of Luc Alphand in Serre Chevalier. All these areas offer fantastic off-piste opportunities and a wide variety of pistes from beginner to expert.
