Fafa Island Resort is located off the coast of Nukualofa, the capital of Tonga, on an island surrounded by a coral reef, ensuring safe swimming and snorkeling. Transfer from the airport is by boat and travel time is around 30 minutes. The resort rests on deserted beaches and is surrounded by natural vegetation and a coral reef.
This small, village resort is built in traditional Tongan style on an 18-acre, palm-covered atoll. There is free use of paddle boats, snorkeling equipment, French boule, and volleyball. The resort also offers daily snorkel trips to the reefs and Islands.
The resort presents true island living, with an uncomplicated lifestyle where bungalows have no TVs or telephones. A maximum of 26 guests can stay in traditional Tongan-style Fales, all of which face the beach. The bungalows are built with natural materials, palm poles, wooden shingles, coconut thatch, and palm timber floors. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel. IMPORTANT TRANSFER INFORMATION: All guests will need to either book transfers directly with the resort or communicate their arrival times into nukualofa wharf as the boat meets all guests.
