This is a fine, well located hotel which has benefited from considerable investment over the past few years. so0308.
The building itself is quite impressive with a pale yellow and white facade. It appears very grand from outside.
The rooms are large on average though their size does vary a little. They are decorated in classically simple style with elegant old-fashioned furniture and neutral colour schemes. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition.
The restaurant is located just off the lobby and is another high-ceilinged, elegant room. Huge windows make for a pleasantly airy atmosphere.
The large lobby is very grand and elegant with a high ceiling with intricate mouldings and graceful pillars. There is limited seating. The reception desk is, by contrast, rather small.
This hotel is located in the centre of Engleberg, only a short trip from the main ski lift and overlooking one of the parks of the town.
