The hotel is built in typical Swiss chalet style with a pale wood facade and balconies.

The rooms are simply furnished in traditional Swiss style. Many command some of Switzerland's loveliest views over the alps with the Eiger, the Moench, and the Jungfrau all directly ahead. The rooms are medium sized and both they and the bathrooms are in very good condition.

The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the hotel and is decorated in typical rustic Swiss style.

The lobby is small, but there is plentiful seating in the cosy lounge area which adjoins it. Alternatively guests can wait on the terrace admiring the breathtaking views weather permitting.

The hotel is located next to Murren's tiny railway station.
