Accommodation and Facilities The pension has nine bedrooms, the majority of which have been recently renovated. Some Austrian twin rooms feature a shower only, with the toilet located on the landing, close to the room. Other bedrooms, some of which can sleep three persons and have a balcony, feature private shower and toilet. Rooms are simply furnished, warm and clean. The Edelweiss features a bright breakfast room and television. Enjoy a hearty extended continental breakfast each morning with freshly baked bread rolls, a selection of cold meats and cheeses, cream cheese, pate spread, butter, honey, marmalade, Nutella, cornflakes, muesli, boiled eggs, juice and tea or coffee. Location The Pension Edelweiss is conveniently located, approximately 300 metres from the centre of Soll, and about 1.3 kilometres from the main Soll-HochSoll gondola. The free ski bus stops 150 metres from the pension. Ski Facts Soll is part of Austria?s largest interconnecting ski region, the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental, which encompasses the resorts of Soll, Itter, Scheffau, Ellmau, Going, Brixen, Hopfgarten, Kelchsau and Westendorf. The area offers a wide range of runs for all standards and is ideal for beginners and experienced skiers alike. In a recent survey on the Top Resort internet platform, the Skiwelt was placed 4th best in a list of 4000 skiing regions worldwide! A new eight - seater gondola, the Skiwelt-Kitzbuheler Alpen lift, planned to be completed for Winter 2008-09, will complete the final connection in the Skiwelt between the resorts of Brixen and Westendorf. As Westendorf is already connected to Kirchberg (in the Kitzbuhel region), by the Ki-West gondola, this new lift will connect the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental to Kitzbuhel-Kirchberg.
