The exterior of the hotel is traditional and well maintained.
The rooms vary in size and shape but on average, are medium-sized. The rooms also vary in style. The hotel has a small percentage of superior rooms, which are beautifully decorated in a grand traditional style. The standard rooms are decorated in a more simple rustic style and are in very good condition. The bathrooms too are in very good condition.
The hotel's restaurant is decorated with a lot of ornate wooden beams and furniture and serves typically Swiss food of an extremely high standard. This restaurant is one of the best in Bernese Oberland and comes highly recommended.
The small lobby is traditional in style with limited seating.
This hotel is located between the East and West railway stations, overlooking Hohematte, Interlaken's huge village green.
