The Doubletree Grand Key Resort is located near Smather's Beach in Key West, near many recreational activities and tourist spots, and is approximately one mile from Key West International Airport. Local attractions include the Southernmost Point, and the Hemingway House, both approximately three miles from the property. Hotel amenities include free airport shuttles, beach club, beach access, outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool, massages, fitness center, ATM, laundry facilities, elevators, gift shop, tour desk, laundry services, local area transportation, multilingual staff, newsstand, room service, safe deposit boxes, business center, secretarial services, and babysitting services. Dining options include the onsite restaurant, and a poolside bar. Guest rooms feature work desks, two telephones, dataports, free high-speed Internet access, air conditioning, alarm clocks, bathrobes, cable TVs, movies on-demand, bath amenities, coffeemakers, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards, weekday newspapers, voicemail, and room safes. Doubletree Grand Key welcomes all well-behaved cats and dogs that weigh under 75 pounds unless prohibited by state law (service animals are always welcome.) When reservations are made, the guest must disclose that their pet will also be visiting. A pet fee of $75.00 per stay will be charged. No more than two (2) pets permitted per guestroom. Any damages (ripped carpet, chewed furniture, excremental matter, etc.) will be the sole responsibility of the pet owner. A deep cleaning fee of up to $100.00 may be charged. Please contact the hotel directly for further details regarding the pet policy. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel. Please note the hotel's pool will be closed for resurfacing from Sunday, September 20 through Sunday, October 11. During this time, all hotel guests will have special access to the pool and tennis courts at Sunrise Suites, located less than 50 yards away including lounge chairs and pool towels. Guests can also use the hotel's complimentary shuttle service to Smather's Beach, where Doubletree Grand Key Resort's guests are provided complimentary lounge chairs and towels at Sunset Watersports Beach Club. Hobie cats, kayaks, wind surfers, wave runners and rafts are available for rent through Sunset Watersports, which also offers parasailing and snorkeling adventure trips, as well as dinner and sunset cruises.
