Snacks such as pizza, cakes, cookies and different kind of sandwiches are available between 09:00 & 19:00 at the Pizza & Grill restaurant. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like coca cola, seven up, orange fanta, lemon fanta, juices (three kinds), beer (two types), red & white wine, water, brandy, aromatic brandy and liquors are served at the Calypso bar (19:00-24:00) and Lido (09:00-19:00).

The hotel offers also the swimming pool bar Lido, the Birimbau which is a disco bar, restaurant and pizzeria on the beach, and the Bar Calypso. The resort has also a boutique where guests can find first necessities like cigarettes, sun tan lotion, some souvenirs and local products, an animation team that offers a lot of activities during the day and the evening, a swimming pool with hydromassage and a mini club for children. Useful Information
The main touristic spots of this beautiful island include the Village of Espargos which is the main village of the island, Pedra Lume is the crater of the now extinct volcano, which is at sea level and even though the sea is 1km away the water manages to filter in, the small oasis of Algudoeiro, the Buracona natural swimming pool, and the pretty beaches of Callheta Funda, Ponta Preta, Fontona, Regona, Puf and Danfior.

Please note that for a couple of years (till 2011 approx) the resort of Sal, which is an up and coming area, will undergo some important infrastructure works, in order to deal with the expansion and upgrading of the resort. These include road and building works, so some disturbance might be caused at times.
