Five brightly colored "villages," each named for a Caribbean island comprise this resort, along with a 45-acre lake bordered by white sandy beaches. Swim at any of the six pools located throughout the island villages. Play at Parrot's Cay, a full acre of fun in the middle of Barefoot Bay, or spend some time on the bay with one of the water crafts available. Other facilities at the resort include a high-tech game room, bike rentals, and a 1.4-mile jogging promenade. Due to the vast size of the resort, there is an internal bus service for travelling around the resort. Brightly colored, 2-story buildings are clustered into five villages named for Caribbean Islands: Barbados, Jamaica, Martinique, Aruba, and Trinidad. Each village has its own quiet pool, plus a white sand beach on the shores of a shimmering lake.
The rooms are spacious and decorated in soft pastel hues, with white oak furniture accented with pineapple motifs. Guest rooms have two double beds and ceiling fan, in-room safe, voicemail, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, and refrigerator available upon request. Non-smoking and disabled accessible rooms are available. Views of garden, courtyard, or parking area.
The dining area at the resort is housed in Old Port Royale. Among the guests' dining choices are a poolside bar for drinks and snacks, and restaurants with family fare and great water views.
Check-in, guest services and bell services are found in the "Custom House", a separate building found near the front entrance of the resort.
