The Diplomat, situated in the heart of Sliema, has a superb sea front position on the prestigious promenade, with facilities for every modern convenience to the business and leisure traveler alike. There is an excellent rock bathing beach providing swimming and a private beach within walking distance. It is well located close to the shops, bars and restaurants, and just a short stroll away is the Dragonara Casino, Super Bowl, Imax Theater and other entertainment centres. The main bus route to the capital Valletta and St. Julian's runs just outside the hotel. The twin bedded oak-furnished rooms all have a side sea-view balcony and some have a front sea-view. Fitted carpets, orthopedic mattresses, black-out curtains, air-conditioned (hot or cold), and computer modem points are all standard features in the rooms (most rooms have Wi-Fi internet access). All rooms have an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower, a telephone and a hairdryer. The entire first floor is reserved for non-smoking guests.
