The farm has it's own free range hens under the RSPCA's 'Freedom Foods' scheme.We are situated 2.5 miles from the old market town of Belford, which was once a stopping off point for coaches on their way to Edinburgh along the Great North Road.Centrally located for most market towns in north Northumberland, we are 15 miles from Berwick-upon-Tweed with its famous Elizabethan ramparts, 16 miles from Alnwick, renowned for the Alnwick Gardens and Alnwick Castle made famous by Harry Potter movies. Detchant is within easy reach of all 7 Northumbrian Castles, Lindisfarne and only a stone's throw from the majestic coastline where beautiful white sandy beaches await you.
