The Creta Star Hotel overlooks the Bay of Skaleta and the picturesque Port of Rethymno. It stands in Crete, the largest island in the southern end of the Aegean Sea, right in the middle of the Mediterranean. Surrounded by subtropical gardens with all manner of exotic flowers and under the blue sky, running down to is fabulous beach, guests will feel that this is a place to have an idyllic break full of enjoyment.
Accommodation
The hotel offers 324 beautifully furnished rooms with mountain or sea view. All the rooms are equipped with private bathroom with bathtub, hair dryer and toiletries, air-conditioning, satellite television, refrigerator, direct dial telephone and 220V Power supply. Most of the rooms have a balcony or terrace with outdoor furniture affording a view of the sea, gardens, or mountains.
Bars & Restaurants
Drinks, cocktails and mouth watering dishes served in a perfect way, offer you special moments of delicious enjoyment in the main restaurant, lobby bar (open from 18:00 until 01:00) and pool snack bar (open from 10:00 until 18:00).
Sports & Leisure
The sports and leisure facilities include two swimming pools, one outdoor pool filled with sea water and with free sun beds and umbrellas and an indoor pool with fresh water, as well as 400m private beach are at guests? disposal, so that they can relax or have fun with the various games organised daily by the hotels recreation team. It also includes open air disco, cinema, TV room, card room, sea sports, beach volleyball, children?s pool, fitness centre, sauna and Jacuzzi, two tennis courts and multi-use animation centre. In addition the hotel has facilities for basketball, table tennis, billiards, mini golf, ping pong, darts, boccia and video games. For the children between 4 - 12 years old there is a well-organized mini club (open from 10:00 - 12:00 and 16:00 - 18:00) and also playground. The long sandy beach with umbrellas and sun-beds offers a wide choice of water sports (local charge applies).
Entertainment
The hotel?s animation team daily organizes different events, all with the scope to entertain you. Here you have various choices for action, exercise and enjoyment of your favourite hobby, the well-equipped leisure rooms are ideal for children and adults. There are also various Theme nights available such as a Greek night and Italian night.
All Inclusive Food:
Meals are served at the Main restaurant in rich buffet style and also in American buffet style (fully air-conditioned). Lunch is served at the Self-Service restaurant by the pool (open from 12:30-15:00). Italian Restaurant is available (5 days a week, reservation at the reception, one day in advance). Breakfast is served from 07:30-10:00, Early Continental breakfast is available from 04:30-07:30 on the request (reservation one day in advance until 20:00). Late Continental Breakfast is available at the Pool bar from 10:00-11:00; Lunch from 12:30-15:00; Dinner from 19:00-21:30. There are Theme nights available (one Greek or Italian night available at the Main restaurant once a week). There are various snacks available at the Pool bar served between 10:00-12:00. Ice cream is served at the Pool bar and Beach Bar from 10:00-18:00. Midnight soup and midnight snacks are also served at the Pool Bar between 24:00-00:30.
All Inclusive Drinks:
There are three bars at the hotel for your enjoyment. The Main Bar is open from 18:00 - 01:00 (after midnight the AI drinks have to be paid for). The Beach Bar is open from 10:00 - 18:00 and the Pool Bar from 10:00 - 24:00. All the bars serve a wide range of International and local drinks such as coffee, tea, mineral water, house wine, draught beer, local brands of whisky, brandy, raki, tequila, ouzo, gin, vodka and various house cocktails. Afternoon tea and coffee is available at the Pool Bar between 16:00-17:00.
