During the summer of 2006, the new, spectacular Copenhagen Island Hotel lowers the leaf of its bridge and opens its doors to its firsts guests. Copenhagen Island is going to be a modern hotel beautifully designed by architect Kim Utzon and with a superb view over the harbour. The hotel will be located on an artificially constructed island in the middle of the harbour. Copenhagen Island will be a state-of-the-art hotel in 4-star product quality at a 3-star price. In addition to its 326 rooms the hotel will boast meeting facilities for up to 90 people, a fitness room, a business centre and a great restaurant. The Copenhagen Island lies in the heart of Copenhagen at kalvebod Brygge, close to the Fisketorvet mail, and just a few minutes walk from Tivoli and the city centre. Like with the other hotels of our group, the Copenhagen Island is being made based on the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group hotel operation philosophy: A unique hotel, in a unique building, with a unique location. This hotel will be arranged in a fine, inviting, and functional design, appealing to all the senses of our guests.
