The hotel retains a family owned feeling although it is operated by the Choice hotel chain, as such it maintains high levels of service, style and comfort. A property that comes highly recommended. This hotel is totally non- smoking in all rooms.
The hotel building is traditional and inside, the hotel combines modern comforts with touches of traditional elegance.
All guest rooms are of modern design and are decorated in light pastel colours. They are of medium size and are in very good condition and so are the bathrooms. Half of the rooms have air-conditioning and they all face the courtyard.
The restaurant is small and cosy but it is not suitable for larger groups of people.
The lobby area itself is small, adjoining a beautiful library and seating area. The hotel is then built in an atrium fashion around two smaller courtyards.
The hotel enjoys one of the nicest locations in Copenhagen, neighbouring the Royal Palace Amalieborg, the Little Mermaid, the Nyhavn harbour area and the Royal theatre. It is one of Copenhagen's finest areas.
