The newly opened Carlton Abbey is a choice for those wishing to enjoy a relaxing break in some of Irelands' gorgeous unspoilt countryside but who may wish to stay within travelling distance of Dublin. (08/08rt).

The hotels landmark building was once the Sisters of Mercy convent and has been carefully and tastefully restored, retaining all of its original striking features.
