Just a few minutes drive North of Rothbury, the 250 year old house offers guests a warm and friendly welcome.An afternoon tea of home made cakes and warm buttered scones are included in our room prices. Recently updated to offer all the modern comforts, the house still retains its original character and this is reflected in the rooms. Colour co-ordinated with en suite facilities, each room has a colour TV with DVD or VCR, a well stocked hospitality tray, personal toiletries, bathrobe and soft dressing gowns A mini fridge is also available in each room. There is a separate guests' lounge with plenty of reading material and big comfy chairs to relax in. Sky television is available in the lounge along with a computer and internet access . Our restaurant serves fresh, local food with a varied menu as your guide. We cater for gluten and lactose free, ceoliac, vegetarian and vegan diets. Surrounding the house is our large garden and patio with a covered pavilion, tables, chairs and loungers to enjoy the sun and the warm summer evenings.
