We are situated in the North Tyne Valley - minutes from the village of Bellingham - and yet we still remain quiet and secluded. There are excellent river woodland walks - see where the river North Tyne river Rede (3/4 of a mile) meet at the 'water meetings', and see the red squirrels each morning coming into our garden for the feeders there. There are also roe deer, foxes badgers in nearby Garret Hot Wood. We are also nearby the two major attractions in the area - Hadrians Wall (10 miles) Kielder Water (12 miles). The market town of Hexham is about 16 miles away. Bellingham (2 miles away) boasts an 18 hole golf course, Bowling Green Hareshaw Linn a splendid waterfall. Cyclists walkers welcome. We can offer ample free parking during your stay plus there is secure storage for bikes. With fresh local produce served from our Aga each morning at breakfast, you will be sure to set off each day ready to sample all that this beautiful part of the country has to offer.
