Accommodation and Facilities The stylish Gasthof Brau has been beautifully renovated, whilst maintaining its traditional, historical charm, with many original antiques to be found. Tastefully decorated, with great attention to detail, the Gasthof features a total of 46 well appointed bedrooms rooms all with bath or shower, toilet, telephone, radio, satellite television and safe. Hotel facilities include reception, bar and several authentic Stuberl, dining room and an in-house brewery. Relax and regenerate after skiing in the sauna and steam-bath, with whirlpool and relaxation area. A solarium is available, and massages can be arranged, for a small local cost. The hotel is well known for its excellent food, and the half board arrangement includes an extensive buffet breakfast and four course evening meal with choice of main course and daily salad buffet. Regular speciality buffets and occasional Gala Dinners are also arranged. Location Located in the centre of Zell am Ziller, about a 900 metres, or 10 minute walk from the main lift station. The free ski bus stops near the hotel and the railway station is located approximately 200 metres away. Ski Facts Zell am Ziller is part of the Ziller Valley ski region, which is home to some of the best known and finest skiing areas in Austria. The region encompasses the skiing areas of Zell am Ziller / Gerlos, Mayrhofen / Finkenberg, Hochzillertal / Kaltenbach / Hochfugen, Fugen / Spieljoch and the Hintertux Glacier, at the end of the valley. All areas, totalling a monstrous 625 kilometres of pistes, are covered by one pass, the Ziller Valley Superski liftpass. The Zell am Ziller ski area, known as the Zillertal Arena, is, in its own right, one of the most modern skiing areas in Austria with over 60 kilometres of pistes for all standards of skier, and 50 lifts. The area incorporates the skiing in Zell, Gerlos (Tyrol), and Konigsleiten, Wald and Krimml/Hochkrimml (Salzburgerland). The area is also known as a paradise for freeriders. The Hot-Zone Snowpark in Gerlos offers obstacles for all tastes. It provides both experienced and beginner boarders the opportunity to learn new tricks and improve their skills.
