Accommodation and Facilities The small, family run Pension Berghof has 20 bedrooms and offers simple, comfortable accommodation. Some bedrooms can accommodate three persons and all feature bath or shower, toilet and balcony. Public areas include dining room and bar, Stuberl, television room and a small recreation room with table tennis and billiards (lcoal cost). The emphasis is on home cooking, and meal arrangements include a cold buffet breakfast and three course evening meal with occasional salad buffet. Fondue evenings are also occasionally arranged. A festive meal is included on Christmas Eve and New Year?s Eve. Location The Pension Berghof is located in a quiet position, approximately 500 metres from the centre of the resort. The nearest lift, the Gaisberg chairlift, is approximately 1 kilometre away and the free ski bus stops about 100 metres from the pension. Ski Facts Kirchberg is part of the Kitzbuhel skiing region which encompasses the resorts of Kitzbuhel, Kirchberg, Reith, Aurach, Jochberg, Mittersill and Hollersbach. With the opening of the 3S cable car system connecting the skiing areas of Hahnenkamm / Pengelstein and Jochberg / Resthohe, Kitzbuhel?s famous ?Ski Safari? has taken on an entirely new dimension, enabling one to ski the entire area from Aschau-Kirchberg to Pass Thurn in both directions.
