Accommodation and Facilities The small, family run Pension Berghof has 20 bedrooms and offers simple but comfortable accommodation. Some bedrooms can accommodate 3 persons and all feature bath or shower, toilet and balcony. Public areas include dining room with Wintergarten and bar, Stüberl, television room and a small recreation room with table tennis and billiards. The emphasis is on home cooking, and meal arrangements include a cold buffet breakfast and 3 course evening meal with regular salad buffet. Fondue evenings are occasionally arranged and complimentary afternoon tea or coffee with cake is also available once weekly. Location The Pension Berghof is wonderfully located in a sunny and quiet position, near to the bathing lake in Kirchberg, and approximately 500 metres from the centre of the resort, where amenities include banks, shops, cafes and restaurants are located. The train station, which provides connections to the mainline service, is located approximately 2 kilometres away. Resort Information & Things to Do Kirchberg lies in the Brixen Valley, just 6 kilometres from its famous neighbour Kitzbuhel, and in the very heart of the Kitzbuhel Alps Region. Kirchberg features 13 Nordic Walking routes and 82 kilometres of paths in 3 varying standards. Cycling and Mountain Biking: Kirchberg and the surrounding area is known as the Bike Eldorado of the Alps, with over 800 kilometres of paths and tracks. Routes range from gentle family paths to mountain routes for the most extreme bikers. Golf: Neighbouring Kitzbuhel, known as The Alpine Golf Centre, lies just 6 kilometres from Kirchberg and boasts 5 golf courses including the Eichenheim, Kitzbuhel Kaps, Golf & Country Club Larchenhof, Kitzbuhel Schwarzsee and Golf & Landclub Ramushof.
