The Beach Club Doganay has been newly refurbished throughout for summer 2007. It is located on the Antalya-Alanya highway and the rare delight of the Mediterranean beach is reached via a short tunnel. The hotel is 7 km from Alanya (easily reached by the hotels own shuttle bus within 10 minutes, which runs daily, or by local dolmus approx every 15 mins) and 125 km from Antalya airport.
Accommodation
Beach Club Doganay offers 373 rooms, which consit of standard rooms, family rooms and connecting rooms. All are luxuriously furnished and decorated and equipped with balcony sea-view (partly), TV, mini-bar (with soft drinks - extra charge), telephone, safe (extra charge in winter season), music, split A/C and a hair dryer. Bathrooms have either a bath or shower. There will be a free welcome drink, while honeymooners will receive complimentary fruit basket and bottle of wine.
All Inclusive Food & Drinks
The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:30-09:30), late breakfast (09:30-10:00), lunch (12:30-13:30) and dinner (19:00-21:00), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. Also at the disposal of the AI guests during the summer season are three A la Carte restaurants; Ottoman, Italian and sea food - all between 19:00 & 21:00 (daily special menu). Snacks such as hamburgers, hot dogs and French fries are available at the Aqua pool bar (summer season) between 11:00 & 17:00 as well as salads, fruit, macaroni, pitta bread and pizza at the beach bar (summer season). Midnight soup (self service - soup, bread & spices) is offered from 23:30-24:00 at the restaurant. Tea & coffee is from 16:00-17:00 (winter) or 10:00-24:00 (summer) at the cafe as well as cake service from 10:00-19:00 (summer, self service). Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like beer, wine, whisky, vodka, gin, raki, soft drinks, mineral water, tea and coffee are served at the Aqua pool bar (10:00-18:00, summer only), Anphi bar (20:30-23:00, summer), lobby bar (S: 24hrs, W: 10:00-23:00) and at the beach bar (10:00-18:00). In-room mini bars are filled daily with soft non alcoholic drinks (at a charge during winter season).
All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment
Sport facilities at the hotel include fitness, daytime tennis, table tennis, beach volleyball (summer), two outdoor swimming pools (one with waterslides - operates only during summer), one indoor pool, pool activities, deck chairs & mattresses, mini club (summer), Turkish bath and sauna (reservation required). Wake up service is also available.
Chargeable Extras
All kinds of imported drinks, drinks at the disco (S: 24:00-03:00, W: 23:00-03:00), telephone & fax service, billiards, massage, water sports (seasonal - parasailing, windsurfing, pedal boat, canoes, banana boat, water-ski, jet-ski, etc), floodlit tennis, doctor, car hire, laundry, safety deposit boxes (during winter) and internet café are available at a charge.
Facilities & Services
Some of the hotel facilities are lobby, two meeting halls which have capacity of 300pax and 700pax, shopping centre, amphitheatre, game hall, tennis courts and health centre. Please note there is no beach/pool towel service.
Entry Requirements
You may obtain a multiple entry visitors visa valid for 90 days at the port of entry on payment of ten pounds sterling, cash (Scottish currency is not accepted).
