Beach Albatros Sharm Hotel is situated on the first line on the Red Sea in the region of Hadaba, Sharm el Sheikh, the South Sinai, Egypt. Hotel is approximately 2 km from Old Sharm, 7 km from Naama Bay (center of city Sharm El Sheikh) and 25 km from the airport. It offers the nice views of the Sinai mountains and of the famous Ras Mohamed Peninsular. It overlooks the harbour of Sharm El Maya and its private sandy beach accessible by its panorama elevator.
Accommodation
The hotel consists of 202 rooms all comfortably furnished and equipped with air conditioning and fitted with private facilities such as telephone, mini bar, T.V. (satellite channels) and balcony. 96 rooms are available in the main building and there are 67 standard rooms with terrace in the garden area. The hotel provides family rooms which consist of two bedrooms and living room, and one bathroom. Please note that the max occupancy of the family room is max 4 persons plus one extra bed.
All Inclusive Food & Drinks
The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:00), late breakfast (10:00-11:00), lunch (12:30-14:30) and dinner (18:30-21:30), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals a variety of cold & hot alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are offered. Lunch and delicious snacks & pizzas are available between 13:00 & 17:00 at the beach restaurant. Afternoon tea & coffee time is from 15:00-17:00. Late midnight snacks can be taken at the Montamary café from 21:30-24:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like beer, wine, soft drinks and water are served at the main restaurant (during meals), the Montimare cafe (10:00-24:00), the pool bar (10:00-17:00) and the beach bar (10:00-17:00).
All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment
Sport facilities at the hotel include fitness centre, two non-heated swimming pools with kid?s sections, sun beds & umbrellas surrounding the pool, various fun, sport & leisure activities organized all day round (like volleyball) and Kiddies club open from 09:30-13:00 & 15:00-18.00 offering variety of games & activities as well as evening animation with mini disco at 20:30. At the Beach Albatros and the Animation, exciting live entertainment programmes take place every evening. The international animation team, perform twice weekly folklore shows. In the Montimare café there is live music every night.
Chargeable Extras
Snorkelling, windsurf and other water sports, the A la Carte Ship restaurant on the beach, dinner at the Italian restaurant (18:30-21:30), the beach bar (with barbecue specialties), the Sail bar (with billiards), drinks at the disco (23:00-02:00), tennis and tennis & volleyball equipment are available at a charge.
Entry Requirements
On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is ?10 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitor?s visa is a requirement. We recommend that you see your Medhotels rep on arrival, and they will assist you with obtaining the visa.
