The hotel is a modern red brick, high rise building. The main drive way leading up to the entrance and the car park to the rear of the hotel, passes between the main doors to the reception and the entrance to the restaurants.
The rooms are medium in size and tastefully decorated with all the modern amenities. Furniture is light wood with carpets and soft furnishings in burgundy red. Bathrooms are also in good condition.
The main restaurant Arve, is an excellent quality gourment restaurant. It is large in size and features traditional rustic decor also giving a rich, cosy atmosphere and offers a rich gormet menu. The Arvena Garden restaurant is situated in a winter garden style and is more casual in atmosphere offering traditional and regional dishes. The hotel also has a large bar area with outdoor terrace and indoor seating.
The lobby is medium in size with some limited seating. The reception desk is directly opposite the main doors and the hotel bar is located to the right of the reception area.
The hotel is situated on the outskirts of the city about a fifteen minute drive from the centre. The hotel has excellent train links directly into the city centre from the underground train stop at the hotel called Gemeinschftshaus/Langwasser on Line U1.
